You might wonder: since they’ve already escaped reincarnation and cut off afflictions, what’s left for Bodhisattvas to practice?
Here’s the key: beings in the Six Realms are “scrubbing away stains” (removing greed, anger, and ignorance), while Bodhisattvas are “optimizing performance.”
Bodhisattva training is divided into 51 stages, much like the journey from medical student to attending physician:

Creating a Pure Land system, composing a soul-healing melody, or even orchestrating an elaborate coincidence to awaken a soul — these are all their “works of art.”
They also share insights with each other: “Hey, the automated lotus system in your Pure Land is pretty impressive!” This kind of “Dharma joy” is far more profound than the happiness we get from fancy dinners or watching movies.
Conclusion: You’re Already in the “Ultimate Training Camp”
The Earth (Sahā World) we currently inhabit, although filled with more suffering than joy, is actually the fastest spiritual training ground in the universe — a “special forces boot camp.”
Try finding something small that made you angry or anxious today, and then say to yourself in your mind:
“I see that version of me who is getting angry right now.”
In that moment of seeing, you’ve already shifted from being an "actor" to being an "observer." In that one second, you’ve actually, briefly, stepped outside the Six Realms of Reincarnation.
